Last December, I witnessed the healing power of Reiki when my godson became critically ill. The hospital staff was bracing his parents for the worst. Maureen Kayata came to my godson's bedside and amidst the whirlwind of ICU doctors and nurses teeming around him, she quietly gave him Reiki treatments. She remained by his bedside for hours. My godson’s condition began to turn around. The doctors commented on how remarkable it was that he was improving at the pace he was. Over the following days, Maureen continued to visit him in ICU and he received Reiki treatments from her. He continued to improve and is on track for full recovery. The experience was life changing and led me to pursue certification in Reiki I. Reiki has been a positive, transforming and healing force in my life and my family's.

My name is Brandi and less than two years ago; I experienced something no one should ever experience. I lost my finance of just 7 days. We were on a pond in Tiverton, RI having a relaxing day of fishing & swimming. Joe jumped in the water to go swimming, a storm rolled all of a sudden came out of no where and Joe took a heart attack. I jumped in to save him but could not get to him in time. From that point on, my life had changed in ways that I could never begin to put in words. I felt guilty for not being able to save him and I lost my love, my best friend.

During the first week, Maureen who was a friend of my mothers, had come to the house and I instantly felt something special with her. Moe would share things with me about Joe that only Joe & I would know. At first I would second guess how she knew this information and I was a bit leery. As the weeks went on, Moe is the reason I was able to begin to heal. Joe would come to Moe with messages for me and knowing that he was okay and still around me was an amazing feeling. I was able to grieve easier knowing that I could reach out at any time to talk to Moe and find a little peace. So I did. I made appointments with Moe and every time I left, I felt such a sense of peace and love filled my heart again.

To this day, I know, Joe, Moe and I share a special bond. I will be forever grateful for Moe and how she was my turning point in regaining happiness again.

Moe’s hypnosis sessions changed my life forever. Ever since I was a very little girl, only eighteen months old, I have had trouble with getting sick and throwing up. I was so sick that some of my earliest memories are of laying in a hospital bed watching fluid drip into my arm because I was dehydrated from throwing up and not being able to stop. Time wore on and the doctors told me I had acid reflux and heartburn. They gave me medication for it, but it always came back and I felt nauseous all the time.

Then, only a few months ago, when I thought I was finally getting a feeling of control over it, it increased. I was throwing up almost weekly. I went back to see my doctor a few times to finally put a stop to it. I was tested for gall stones and lactose intolerance, but it came back negative. Every visit was the same. I seemed perfectly healthy. I shouldn’t be having such big stomach problems. It was diagnosed as anxiety issues.

So I went off the medication, it didn’t help much anyway. And before my mom scheduled to send me to therapy, I finally put my foot down. My mom and Moe were good friends, so I had known Moe for a long time and I knew about her practice. I said that I wouldn’t go to therapy until I tried hypnosis. My mom made the appointment, eager to try anything to keep me from spending hours every week throwing up.

After only three hypnosis appointments, I don’t feel nauseous all the time, and I haven’t thrown up since. I haven’t even felt sick. This healing happened in a matter of two weeks and it was a complete turnaround, the difference between night and day. Now I really am the healthy person the doctors thought I was and I’m so ecstatic and grateful for the help I have been blessed with. It is all thanks to Moe and the angels, and it only took one little phone call.
